According to Merriam-Webster.com, insight can be defined as "the ability to understand people and situations in a very clear way".

Insights can be explained as having a feeling or emotion or thought that helps you understand an essential thing, idea or person. Insights are inspired by experiences including facts or evidence but often are sensed using intuition.

According to Merriam-Webster.com, perception can be defined as "the way you think about or understand someone or something". Consider how you observe effects and impacts.

Perception is about awareness and comprehension. The way you gain perception can be environmental and social. It relies on you noticing things around you and questioning "why". It is a point of view or lens that you shaped with experience and can be shared with others.
