​Tag questions are used to check information in a sentence.

​

​Affirmative sentences have negative tag questions. (+ -)

​Negative sentences have affirmative tag questions. (- +)

​

​Answer in the same way as other questions.

​Examples:

​

You're a student, aren't you?

​Yes, I am.

​

​You're not allergic to bee stings, are you?

​No, I'm not.
