PHOTOSYNTHESIS
.Plants absorb water through their roots. this water contains various minerals. plants also absorb carbon dioxide from the atmosphere through the minute pores present in their leaves. all these are done for the preparation of food, preparation of food takes place in leaves. this is called PHOTOSYNTHESIS. sunlight and the pigment present in leaves called chlorophyll. are also used for photosynthesis.

.the product of photosynthesis is glucose. oxygen is also produced by photosynthesis. oxygen goes to the atmosphere. later the glucose forms into starch. plants make their own food so their known as autotrophs
