THE PRESENT SIMPLE​

​I. Cách dùng của thì hiện tại đơn

1. Diễn tả những hành động lặp đi lặp lại hay thói quen

Ex : We go to the cinema every Sunday.  

2. Miêu tả lịch trình hoặc chương trình (ngụ ý tương lai)

Ex:   Oh no! The train leaves at five.               

        The cartoon starts at 7:45 p.m.  

3. Miêu tả thực tế hoặc sự thực hiển nhiên

 Ex: She works as a nurse.      The sun rises in the east.  

4. Miêu tả các trạng thái ở hiện

Ex:I am hungry.      I am not happy.  

​II Đuôi s/ es của động từ trong thì hiện tại đơn.

​1. Quy tắc thêm đuôi s/ es

- Động từ không có dấu hiệu đặc biệt: Thêm -s vào sau động từ           

Ví dụ: get - gets, take - takes

- Động từ kết thúc bằng các chữ cái -ss, -sh, -ch, -x, -o: Thêm -es        

Ví dụ: miss - misses, wash - washes, watch - watches, mix - mixes, do - does

- Động từ kết thúc bằng một phụ âm và -y: Bỏ -y và thêm -ies       

Ví dụ: study - studies

- Động từ kết thúc bằng một nguyên âm và -y: Thêm -s vào sau động từ         

Ví dụ: play – plays

​2. Cách phát âm đuôi s và es

  - Phát âm là /s/ khi âm tận cùng của động từ nguyên thể là /p/, /t/, /k/, /f/

Ví dụ: stops , spots , looks  , laughs 

  - Phát âm là /ɪz/ khi âm tận cùng của động từ nguyên thể là /s/, /z/, /ʃ/, /tʃ/, /dʒ/

Ví dụ: misses  , rises  , washes , watches  , judges 

  - Phát âm là /z/ khi âm tận cùng của động từ nguyên thể là các âm còn lại Ví dụ: cleans , plays  , clears  , rides  , comes

Câu hỏi:

• Wh/q + does + he/she/it/danh từ số ít + verb?

• Wh/q + do + I / they / you / we / danh từ số nhiều + verb?

• Does + he/she/it/danh từ số ít + verb?

4.Dấu hiệu nhận biết:

• Always (luôn luôn) , usually (thường xuyên), often (thường xuyên), sometimes (thỉnh thoảng), seldom (hiếm khi), rarely (hiếm khi), never (không bao giờ), regularly (thường xuyên).

• Every day, every week, every month, every year,……. (Mỗi ngày, mỗi tuần, mỗi tháng, mỗi năm)

• Once/ twice/ three times/ four times….. a day/ week/ month/ year,……. (một lần / hai lần/ ba lần/ bốn lần ……..một ngày/ tuần/ tháng/ năm)

Lets talk about prepositions of time, in , on and at.

Preposition of time: In

• seasons (mùa) : They travel in winter.

• Weeks (tuần): He will be here in four weeks.

• Months (tháng): They will join us in May.

• Years (năm): We saw them last in 2011

• Length of time (khoảng thời gian): She will finish it in 3 hours.

• Centuries (thế kỷ): That event happened in 20th century.

  Decades (thập kỷ): They invented it in 90's.​

• ​Parts of the day (thời điểm trong ngày): She will finish it in the morning.

Preposition of time: On

• Days of the week (ngày trong tuần): He is coming on Monday.

• Days of the month (ngày trong tháng): She will graduate on 30th January.

• Holidays with Day (ngày lễ với từ Day): They gather together on Halloween day.

• Day + Part of the day (Ngày trong tuần đi với thời điểm trong ngày) : You will receive it on Monday morning.

• Dates with Month and Day (Ngày với Tháng và Ngày trong tháng): Our final exam will be on April 20th.

Preposition of time: At

• A specific hour (giờ cụ thể): He will arrive at 5 o'clock.

• A specific part of the day (thời điểm cụ thể trong ngày): (without the) They had a party at night.

• Festivals (ngày lễ): (at Christmas, at Easter)
