​The candidate seeks appropriate leadership roles and opportunities to take responsibility for student learning, to collaborate with learners, families, colleagues, other school professionals, and community members to ensure learner growth and to advance the profession.

• A Teacher should take ownership of their role in learners' success.

• ​Instructors should see collaborative opportunities with others.

• ​Teachers should be willing to listen and be open to new ideas.

• ​Educators should form teams to work with one another for student success.

• ​Outside help and opinions should be consulted in curriculum and assessment design.

• ​A Unified desire for success students should drive Educator partnership.

What are some setbacks you have experienced while collaborating between learners and their families?

Essential Knowledge

The educator understands the entire school aspects, including history, culture, political, and social context, knows how to work with others to support learners.

The teacher knows how to work with other adults and has developed skills in collaborative interaction appropriate for both face-to-face and virtual contexts.

The teacher knows how to contribute to a common culture that supports high expectations for student learning.
