El clima/ El tiempo

​These words are interchangeable a lot of times.

​El clima- Climate: could be used to describe weather in a more regional context.

​El tiempo- Time/ Weather: is used to refer to a weather event, day-to-day weather, or weather on a more local scale like right outside the window.

¿Hoy, qué tiempo hace?

​Hoy hace mucho frío afuera. Está seco y muy soleado. No hay nubes. Llevo una chaqueta encima de un suéter y pantalónes con botas y calcetines largos. Me siento cómodo, pero tengo frío.

​¿Qué tiempo hace?

​Hoy hace mucho calor. Está muy soleado con temperatura alta. El aire está muy húmedo y hay muchas nubes. Llevo shorts con una camiseta encima de un traje de baño. También llevo chanclas.
