Commas in cities & states
Example: "We live in Houston, TX."
3
We use a comma when writing out a city and its state. The comma goes between the city & state. (REMEMBER: Capitalize the city & BOTH letters of the abbreviated state.)
Examples:
We live in Houston, TX.
I'm travelling to Los Angeles, CA.
I am originally from Chicago, IL.
He is visiting from Miami, FL.
4
Keep in mind... We should still apply the other comma rules that we've learned so far!
