• Nouns are words that refer to people, places, or things.

• They can be either singular or plural.

  • Singular means one

  • Plural means more than one​

​How to Make Nouns Plural

• Most nouns can be made plural simply by adding an s or es

• Nouns that end in f or fe change to ves

• Some nouns don’t change at all like deer and moose

• Hyphenated words form plurals by adding s to the main noun
