A handwritten book is called a manuscript. Before the discovery of printing , books were handwritten on palm leaves and on bark of birch trees. The ancient manuscript give a lot of information about religion beliefs and practices , life of kings, medicine, science and literature.

1. Sites where historical remains are found are called archaeological sites.

There are two distinct terms in history.
1. BC stands for "Before Christ"
2. AD stands for "Anno Domini which means " In the Year of the Lord.
