MUSEUM - is a building or institution that cares for and displays a collection of artifacts and other objects of artistic, cultural, historical, or scientific importance.

Many public museums make these items available for public viewing through exhibits that may be permanent or temporary.

9

Museums play a crucial role in preserving local culture. With careful documentation and artifact preservation, a culture can be recorded and remembered regardless of its future. It can also be shared and understood by those from different cultural backgrounds.

10

Museums give us a chance to look into the past as well as the future, to see where we’ve been and where we might go. Without them, many important pieces of history would be lost.
