ASEAN​

ASEAN stands for Association of Southeast Asian Nations. It was established on 8 August 1967 in Bangkok, Thailand, with the signing of the ASEAN Declaration (Bangkok Declaration) by the Founding Fathers of ASEAN, namely Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore and Thailand.​

The founding fathers that signed ASEAN Declaration were:

1.  Adam Malik from Indonesia

2. Tun Abdul Razak from Malaysia

3. Narciso Ramos from Philippines

4. S. Rajaratnam from Singapore

          The countries located on 21° south latitude - 11° north latitude and 92° east longitude - 141° east longitude. They are located between Pacific and Indian Oceans, and Asia and Australia continents.

The borders of ASEAN countries are:

1. North : China, Pacific Ocean

2. West  : Indian Ocean, Andaman Sea

3. South: Indian Ocean,Timor Leste, Australia

4.East:Pacific Ocean, Papua New Guinea
