Rafting is an adventure activity. And it has its origin in the fifties, in the United States and Europe. It is said that it began to be practiced because a group of explorers and fishermen were descending a river with small boats and rafts through the aquatic slopes. And little by little began to market more and more.
3
The first rafting expedition took place in the year one thousand eight hundred forty-two , when United States Army Lieutenant John Fremont made an expedition across the Platte River. After this in the United States and in part of Europe, this new term linked to risk sports was beginning to be heard. It was a sport that had each of the necessary ingredients to succeed, especially the spirit of adventure, an essential element in human life.
4
Where is it practised?
It is practiced in the riverbeds, although there are also closed circuits to be able to start in it without danger. Rafting is a relatively new alternative, but it already has many fans. And in these years anyone can try what it feels like to go down a river.
5
It is practiced in a group and normally with monitors. With a few basic notions you can have a great time: facing rapids, turning in the currents... Rafting has become an original and innovative way of enjoying the attractions that nature provides with sufficient doses of risk.
