Πράξεις που είχαν διάρκεια στο παρελθόν σε συγκεκριμένο χρόνο.

π.χ. we were cleaning the house all morning.​

Πράξεις που έγιναν και τελείωσαν στο παρελθόν σε συγκεκριμένο χρόνο.

π.χ. Sam played basketball yesterday.​

​ΠΡΟΣΟΧΗ !

Η πράξη που έχει διάρκεια μπαίνει σε Past Continuous ενώ η πράξη που μας διακόπτει μπαίνει σε Past Simple.

π.χ. I was eating when John visited me.

Μετά το when= όταν βάζουμε Past Simple.

Μετά το while = όταν βάζουμε Past Continuous.​
