  • Can be solved by adding up all of the sides together.

  • If there is NO measurement in the problem, remember to write "units" after the number.​​

    • Ex. 5 + 8 + 5 + 8 = 10 + 16 = ​26 units

    • Ex. (5 x 2) + (8 x 2) = 10 + 16 = 26 units
