An indirect object is the noun or pronoun that always comes between the verb-transitive and the direct object.
To find the indirect object as TO WHAT/WHOM OR FOR WHAT/WHOM after the direct object.
The indirect object receives the direct object.
An indirect object means someone or something different from the direct object.
An indirect Object is labeled IO.
