Aren't sure how to tell if a sentence has personification in it?
Here are some tips!
Ask yourself this: Can the noun of the sentence actually do that?
For example, if I have the sentence:
The grass colored my feet green.
I can ask myself: Can grass actually color my feet?
The answer would be, no. Grass can't actually color your feet. If you rub your feet on some freshly cut grass, your feet can turn green though!
Give it a try!
