What is a Direct Object Pronoun?
DOP replaces the main object in a sentence
DOP is the IT in a sentence
The DOP avoids repeating an object over and over again.
It's the main object that RECEIVES the ACTION
So instead of saying I eat pizza... you would say
I eat it.

Steps to Find the main OBJECT in a sentence.
Find the ACTION in your sentence. The action will be a conjugated verb. I eat pizza in the cafe... Yo como pizza en el cafe.
Ask yourself I eat pizza in the cafe. Yo como pizza en el cafe. So what am I eating?
Replace the main object with a DOP (it)
I eat it in the cafe.
