​Verbs in Spanish end in -ar, -er, or -ir. A verb that doesn't have a subject attached (to run, to walk, to sing, etc.) is called an infinitive in Spanish.

 No me gusta - I do not like

No te gusta - You do not like

 No le gusta - He/She does not like.            

 No nos gusta - We do not like

No les gusta - They do not like​

What do you like...

gusta and gustan are used to talk about what we like or don't like.

​

gusta and gustan are based on 'what is being liked' or 'what is not liked' it is NOT based on the number of people liking something!

​

for example, if I like bananas I would use gustan and not gusta because I like something that's plural!

But, If they like art class, we would use gusta because what they like is singular​, even though it's multiple people liking something!
