Playwright: One who writes plays; a dramatist. The definition of a playwright is a person who composes or writes a play. William Shakespeare is an example of a playwright.
Cast: The name for the group of people in a play.
Plot: the sequence of events that make up a story, whether it’s told, written, filmed, or sung. The plot is the story, and more specifically, how the story develops, unfolds, and moves in time.

Stage direction: an instruction in the text of a play, especially one indicating the movement, position, or tone of an actor, or the sound effects and lighting.
Example: 'The man deals a deck of cards' or 'Katy enters the room' are examples of stage directions. They describe the movements of the characters in the scene. Furthermore, setting description such as 'the morning sunlight fills the room' is also an example of stage direction.

Suspense: state or condition of mental uncertainty or excitement, as in awaiting a decision or outcome, usually accompanied by a degree of anxiety.
Examples:
Come on, Fran, don't keep me in suspense! I want to see what I got for my birthday!
I was inside my room listening to music. All of a sudden, I hear the door knob moving, keeping me in suspense as I await.
We awaited in suspense for the doctor to give us the news regarding our health.
