am, is, are 'doing' something

​To form we use the correct form of estar + present participle of verb

​The present participle of the verb is formed by dropping the infinitive ending and adding -ando to -ar verbs or -iendo to -er and -ir verbs.

-ar verbs to ando: hablando, trabajando, practicando

-er / -ir verbs to -iendo:comiendo, abriendo, corriendo
