Pronoun Types - Subject Pronouns
A subject pronoun tells who is performing the action
usually at the beginning of the sentence.
I, you, he, she, it, we, they
After finishing the experiment, I showed my teacher the results.
I = the subject

Pronoun Types - Object Pronouns
Object pronouns receive the action of the sentence.
usuallly near the end of the sentence
me, you, him, her, it, us, and them
After finishing the experiment, my teacher showed me the results.
The object pronoun me is used after an action verb, showed.
My teacher showed the results to me.

You can also use a subject pronoun after a linking verb (am, is, are, was, were, or be).

When a pronoun is connected to a noun with the word and, it can be hard to tell which pronoun is correct. To tell which one is correct, look at the sentence without the other noun.
