​LAMPUNG is the southern province of Sumatra island. Lampung has a famous dance as a regional icon called Sembah Sigeh Dance Pengunten. This dance comes from the tribe of Pepadun. At first the Dance was dedicated only to welcome the arrival of certain kings and special guests. As the times progressed, the Tari Dance now be enjoyed in every cultures performances, including in Taiwan.

​Sembah Sigeh Pengunten Dance is a synthesis of two cultural identities in Lampung. The dance absorbs the elements of movement from the area of Pepadun and Peminggir, which is combined into a beautiful and harmonious movement. Characteristic of the Dance Sembah is the accessories worn by the dancers, namely Siger. The golden crown that symbolizes the area of Lampung. In addition, the dancers also wear accessories worn in the hand, namely the stairs. Is a gold cone-shaped finger cover.

​This dance is also often showed in National Culture Stage. Local residents were amazed at the siger's sumptuous beauty with golden colors. Dance Sembah is used as the opening event of the show, which aims to greet the invited guests.

The more famous Indonesian culture on the island of Formosa shows if the world is very admiring art and culture of Indonesia. If not we are preserving Indonesian cultures, then who will do it?​
