TO FIND THE SUM OF TWO INTEGERS USING A NUMBER LINE

1. Start at the point that represents the first intger.

2. Draw an arrow to represent the second integer. Move tot he right if the second integer is positive. Move to the left if the second integer is negative. the answer is the number where the arrow ends.
