These two city-states were seen as very different due to the roles that people played, their government and what they valued as important.
In Sparta they wanted people to fit into society and follow the military structure. Athens on the other hand, wanted to value individual expression and come up with new ideas.
Due to tensions and differences these two city-states war would break out among the two of them....
