SIGNS are also called findings.  Signs are what the doctor finds when examining the patient. They are observations or measurements you take from a patient: Blood pressure,

temperature, heart rate.......

SYMPTOMS are also called complaints.  Symptoms are problems which a patient reports to the doctor.   Some examples of symptoms are pain, nausea, and fatigue.  They are the physical conditions that indicate an illness.  Symptoms can be strong, mild or weak.
