Georgia's Executive Branch
Consists of the governor and lieutenant governor.
Elected every 4 years - have the same qualifications.
Ensures that the laws are enforced through agencies (Ex: Public Safety, Georgia State Patrol, Education, Department of Labor, Etc.).

Judicial Branch of Georgia
Makes sure laws written in the Georgia constitution are interpreted correctly.
Made up of two courts:
Trial Courts - courts where it is determined if you broke the law or not (State Court, Superior Court, Juvenile Court).
Appellate Courts - handle appeals; examine the cases of a lower court when the person who lost a court case appeals (fights / disagrees with) the ruling.
