Remember the following aspects

1) PASSIVE VOICE WITH one object

Peter bought some stamps for a letter.

Some stamps were bought for a letter by Peter​.

Are Mary and Leslie having a holiday in Hawaii?

Is a holiday in Hawaii being had by Mary and Leslie?​

2) PASSIVE VOICE WITH two objects

The Pope is giving a speech to all the people in Rome.

1. A speech is being given to all the people in Rome by the Pope.

2. All the people in Rome are being given a speech by the Pope.

Andrew donated some toys to the children in the hospital.

1. Some toys were donated to the children in the hospital.

2. The children in the hospital were donated some toys.

3) Impersonal passive

Everybody says that Paul was a famous spy in WWII.

1. Paul is said to be/ have been a famous spy in WWII.

2. It is said that Paul was a famous spy in WWII.

They always say that vaccines are harmful for health.

1. Vaccines are always said to be harmful for health.

2.It is always said that vaccines are harmful for health.

4) causative passive ( HAVE SOMETHING DONE)

1) Peter needs to cut his hair.

Peter needs to have his hair cut.

2) Somebody is looking after my cousins' dogs.

My cousins are having their dogs looked after.

3) They will redecorated the village house

They will have the redecorated.​

THE PASSIVE VOICE CAN HAPPEN IN ALL THE TENSES AND VERB FORMS THAT WE'VE ALREADY SEEN DURING THE COURSE​
