Los VERBos PRESENTES (parte 1)

Regular Present Tense Spanish Verbs

2

THE BASICS

  • Los verbos describe an action or a state of being.

  • Verbs that are in their neutral state, are called the infinitives. You can tell when a verb is in its infinitive form because it will end in -ar, -er, or -ir

  • Verbs that are put into a different tense (past, present, future, etc) are called conjugated verbs.

3

If there are two verbs side by side then the first is conjugated and the second remains in its infinitive form.

RULE #2

A sentence will always have one conjugated verb
