SO .. THAT vs SUCH .. THAT
We use these two to express cause & effect.
They have a same meaning, but have differences in the use.
They are used to explain a result or an opinion about something.
They are used to express both the effect and the result of situations in a sentence.

Cause : The weather was nice
Effect : We wanted to go to the beach
Because the weather was nice, we wanted to go to the beach.
The weather was so nice that we went to the beach.
It was such nice weather that we went to the beach.
