What is the story of The Odyssey about?

The Odyssey of Homer is a Greek epic poem that tells of the return journey of Odysseus to the island of Ithaca from the war at Troy, which Homer addressed in The Iliad. In the Greek tradition, the war lasted for ten years.

When Odysseus finally got home and discovered that someone had stolen his kingdom from him, he disguised himself as someone else and seek revenge. No one knew that it was him...​

Now thin and weak, Argos still wagged his tail and got very excited as he saw his owner.​

Thinking about his revenge, no matter how Odysseus wanted to hug his loyal dog, he maintained his disguise and left the WEAK LONGING ARGOS confused and wondering why his owner did not even try to acknowledge him. Argos died not long after their encounter.
