What happened during the Green Flag over Texas​

When Mexico was struggling to become independant A guy named Jose Gutierrez​ built an army called the Rebublican Army of the North and continued the fight in Texas flying a solid green flag wile doing it. They invaded Texas in 1812 and took Nacogdoches, and they laid seig in La Bahia, and after 4 months of laying seig they coudnt take out the spanish so they went to San Antonio, and then took out the spanish out outside of San Anontio. They then declared Texas independant in 1813, and their governer was brutally executed and many soldiers were upset enogh to leave and the ones that stayed replaced Gutierrez.
