​A run-on is one more than one sentence is joined together improperly. It is missing a comma and a conjunction OR a semicolon.

​EXAMPLE: I lOVE PIZZA i WOULD EAT IT EVERY DAY.

CORRECTING THEM

To correct a run-on add the following:

-A comma and conjunction

-A semicolon​

​EXAMPLE: I love pizza, and I could eat it every day.

OR ​

I love pizza; i could eat it every day.​
