1. Fact: Something that is known to be true and/or can be proven.
Ex. a. Leaves on growing plants are usually green.
b. Some people keep dogs as pets.
c. 1 liter of water weighs 1 kilogram.
d. New York City is not the capital of New York State.

2. Opinion: A person's viewpoint about a person, place, or thing.
Opinions cannot be verified (proven).
Ex: a. He is childish.
b. To solve traffic, it is better to invest in subways and trains
than in road widening programs.

invalid and/or deceptive sources.
