Expressing the near future

  • When expressing the near future you're expressing what you are "going to do"

  • use the formula "ir + a + infinitive"

  • an infinitive is the "to form" of a verb- hablar= to speak, comer= to eat, bailar= to dance, cantar= to sing, escribir= to write​, nadar= to swim, leer= to read, escuchar= to listen to
