Brave New World and Dystopia

A dystopia is a world that has been imagined and shown on paper or on the big screen. It shows the fears of what the future might be like if people keep acting the way they do now. There are usually a number of things that make up a dystopian reality. These traits include governmental control, which is when the government or an overarching power runs people's lives, destruction of the environment, control of technology, censorship, which is when tyrannical powers stop people from sharing information, lack of individualism, and conditioning, which is when people are forced to be a part of a system where their individual traits are lost. War, extreme class and social divides, poverty, and anarchy are also common themes in dystopias.
