​Comma Rules when Writing a Series

  • Place a comma after each item in the series, except the last.

  • The final comma is called the OXFORD COMMA, and while some find it debatable, we consider it required!

  • All items in a series must be the same part of speech.

  • If possible, write your series in some kind of logical order!
