GRASPS STATEMENT

Your community is planning to enhance tourism by introducing new products that will represent your place in the upcoming community grand tour. You will be part of a market research community that focuses on product development in line with your strand/field. Creating something new is only one aspect of innovation; it can also involve refining already-existing products. As Lasallian interns who will be serving the community and setting an example to inspire the youth, you are challenged to produce a product  that you think will increase the community's tourism. To come up with this study, you will be following a guideline. Your output will be evaluated based on the given rubrics.

- Use Google Scholar or the school’s Online Database Access

in searching for your related reading/articles. You may visit the LRC to

- The statistical questions should be answerable through a

survey.

3. Create an online survey that aims to answer the statistical questions asked.

- Use any online survey application.
- The survey questions must give you numerical results (realizations of the random variables)
- In creating an online survey, always include a request for consent. The name is always optional.

4. Send emails to your immediate target population. They may be living or studying in your
immediate community.

- The email should indicate the purpose of your study (why your topic is important and why they should answer the survey) and the link
to the online survey you created.
- Respectfully ask for cooperation from the people you will be sending emails to.
- Follow-up (max of 1 follow-up only) if emails are unanswered within two days.

Note: Your email should be checked and approved first by your subject teacher before sending it out to your participants.

5. Collect at least 30 data per statistical question.

6. Use any data processing application (Excel, Numbers, Google Sheets, etc.) in organizing the

Groupings

The group will be composed of 6-7 members.
- each group will have one leader and one assistant leader

  • students may volunteer to be a leader. If there will be no volunteers, leaders will be chosen through wheel of names.

  • members will be assigned to groups through random sampling

Jamboard Links

Instructions: Each group will be given a Jamboard link which will serve as the presentation material of the group. The presentation material will include the following:
First slide - Planning stage (summary of shared ideas and tasking)

Second slide - Proposed Product (proposed title of the product, short background details on the product, purpose and significance of the innovation/product.

Third slide - Reflection Stage (3-2-1 Ts)
