Why were tropical islands like Tahiti described as proof that

man was born unspoiled? Why were these claims inaccurate
and unbiblical?
These islands appeared to be an unspoiled tropical paradise.
The explorers assumed the islanders were good because
they lived simple lives in apparent harmony with nature.
However, the islanders often practiced cannibalism,
performed human sacrifices, and engaged in tribal warfare.
The myth of “unspoiled natives” contradicts the reality of
man’s innate sinfulness.
