This amendment states, that no person shall be
held to answer for a capital crime unless on a
presentment or indictment of a grand jury, that
no person shall be charged with the same
offense twice, which is called double jeopardy,
that no person can be a witness against
themselves or be deprived of life, liberty or
property, without due process, and that private
property cannot be taken away for public use,
without compensation.
