The training is interactive. Therefore, it is based on practical tasks. Use a minimum of theoretical material, and if necessary, just give the children printouts with the rules. This will help save time and will not turn the training lesson into a "traditional" one. The ideal lesson has several practical tasks with short discussions and exercises between them.

7

The training plan is a mandatory and fundamental element. It can look different:

  • a table,

  • a list of sequential actions,

  • a diagram,

  • a script, etc.

This does not mean that the training will go completely as planned. And that's normal! But the plan will help not to deviate from the main topics that should be worked out.

8

The structure of the training

The introductory part is conviction and positivity

  1. Create a friendly, productive and comfortable atmosphere. This stage is called "acquaintance".

  2. Set a lesson topic and outline expectations. The task of this stage is to help students actualize their knowledge and formulate the results that you want to achieve while studying a new topic.

  3. Help students understand the importance of everyone's personal contribution to working together. This is a step towards increasing their motivation and attention.

  4. Create rules for working together (no interrupting, free leg rule, etc.).

9

The main part is practice/execises

Training involves performing practical tasks with exercises in turn, i.e. exercises to relieve muscle and psychological tension. The main part consists of this, as well as small blocks of theoretical material (story, demonstration, explanation up to 5 minutes).

Interactive forms:

  • conversations, discussions, debates;

  • multimedia presentation;

  • cooperative learning, project implementation;

  • group work;

  • brainstorm;

  • analyze.

10

The final part: summaries, advice and feedback

This part of the training should be a logical conclusion to all activities of the lesson. The acquired knowledge and skills should also be discussed. The last stage of training allows:

  • get feedback;

  • if necessary, consider plans for future training;

  • provide advice (literature, movies, etc.);

  • end the lesson on a positive note so that the children do not lose motivation (for example, you can praise everyone).
