SIMPLE QUESTIONS
start with the auxiliary verb:

For now, we have two auxiliary verbs: do and be.
We use DO every time we are talking about an action.
The verb BE is used when we are talking about a feeling or describing someone, something, or a phenomenon.

The subject is the person or thing that performs the action of a verb or is being described.
We can use pronouns:
I, you, he, she, it, we, you, they.
Or use names(nouns):
Mary, John, mother, dog, trees, rock, etc.

It can be a verb, followed by DO, or a noun, followed by BE.
We use verbs to talk about actions, they come with the auxiliary DO in questions and negative sentences.
If we want to describe a person, thing, or phenomenon, we use a noun (adjectives, feelings, etc) that is followed by BE.
