A city is a big place where lots of people live and work. It's usually busier than smaller towns and has more things to do and places to go, like parks, stores, and schools. Cities can be found near oceans, rivers, or mountains, and they're important because they help people connect and do things together.

A city system is like a big puzzle with many pieces that fit together. It includes things like roads, trains and buses, clean water, electricity, police and firefighters, schools, hospitals, and parks. People who live in the city use all of these things to go about their daily lives. Just like how all the pieces of a puzzle fit together to make a picture, all the parts of a city system work together to make a city a nice place to live.

In Taipei, there are many people who work for the government. Some of these people you might see on TV, like the mayor. Others you might see in your neighborhood, like police officers and crossing guards. These people are called government workers, and they are there to keep you safe and help the city run smoothly. They make sure you have things like clean water and other important services.
