Denmark has a very short history celebrating Valentine's Day; they have only celebrated since the 1990's. On Valentine's Day, Danish lovers exchange flowers. However, they don't give each other traditional red roses, instead they exchange white flowers called snowdrops. They also exchange Valentine's Day cards. In Denmark these are called Lover's Cards.
