-Plan on paper to avoid mistakes in planting.
-Different kinds of plants need different amounts of space to grow well.
-To make a flower garden look appealing, plan to group flowers of the same kind in

flowers at the back of the bed, medium-sized flowers in the center of the bed, and
short flowers in the front of the bed.

(vegetables and fruit peelings), and wood ashes.

1. Dig the compost pit.
