-The soil should be rich in minerals that plants needs

Crops like cauliflower, lettuce, Baguio beans, carrot, sugar beets, and
potato grow best in the rich soil and cold climate of Baguio.

Sweet potato, native pechay, cassava, and onions are easily cultivated
in the lowlands.

-To make sure that the crops are of good quality, choose mature, clean,
and healthy seeds.

-Farmers usually dry and keep good quality seeds for the next
planting in order to have a good harvest.

-Plan on paper to avoid mistakes in planting.

-Different kinds of plants need different amounts of space to grow well.

-To make a flower garden look appealing, plan to group flowers of the same kind in

flowers at the back of the bed, medium-sized flowers in the center of the bed, and
short flowers in the front of the bed.

-Add organic matter like decayed plants or animal materials if the garden soil
