Revolution in Russia
Causes: The Russian Revolution of 1917 was primarily caused by the Russian people's dissatisfaction with the autocratic rule of the Tsar, Nicholas II, and the hardships they faced during World War I.
Events: The revolution occurred in two main phases - the February Revolution, which led to the abdication of the Tsar and the establishment of a provisional government, and the October Revolution, where the Bolsheviks, led by Lenin, seized power.
Impact: The Russian Revolution ended the Romanov dynasty, established the Soviet Union, and shifted from a monarchy to a communist government under the leadership of the Bolshevik Party.
Legacy: The Russian Revolution had far-reaching consequences, including civil war, economic and social changes, and the spread of communist ideology worldwide.
