The Messenger of Allah(PBUH) , Beware of
greed. Greediness destroyed those before
you and encouraged them to shed each
other's blood and to make lawful what Allah
had made unlawful for them.

Miserliness or stinginess

Meansspending less than what is required.

It is spendingmoney unwisely with no need

and it is the same as wastefulness.

What is the Islamic definition of “Extravagance”?

قال تعالى : 

"وَلا تُبَذِّرْ تَبْذِيرًا ﴿٢٦﴾ إِنَّ الْمُبَذِّرِينَ كَانُوا إِخْوَانَ الشَّيَاطِينِ وَكَانَ الشَّيْطَانُ لِرَبِّهِ كَفُورًا "﴿٢٧﴾

\﴾٢٧﴿" اًروُﻔَﻛ

Indeed, the wasteful are brothers of the devils, and ever
has Satan been to his Lord ungrateful.

قال تعالى : 

"وَكُلُوا وَاشْرَبُوا وَلا تُسْرِفُوا إِنَّهُ لا يُحِبُّ الْمُسْرِفِينَ "﴿٣١﴾سورة الاعراف

Eat and drink, but be not excessive

patient endurance [in life] with a high
station [in paradise], and will be met
therein with a greeting of welcome
