number of raw points you earn on a test.
►What is a raw point?
► The point you receive when you answer one
question correctly

Each question is worth one raw point. Your raw score is the total number of points recieved for answering questions correctly.
Scale score
The score you actually recieve on ACT test is your scale score. This score is determined by your raw score.
In order to score a 22 (Scale score) on your Reading ACT, you must answer 27 (Raw score) questions correctly.
