However, he has not made much progress in changing behaviors. He says that his entire family is overweight and has high blood pressure and diabetes so it's probably in the cards for him anyways.

At his most recent doctor's appointment, Raphael was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes and prescribed an injectable insulin.
