1. Close out of all apps by double-clicking the home button

and swiping out of apps

2. Do a hard shutdown/reset by holding down the home

button and the power button until the Apple logo
appears

3. Have students make sure they are connected to HSSD

auth

4. Launch the DRC app and follow proctor directions

The DRC APP

Students will find the DRC app on their device. It has been pushed
out previously from IT. It is also in Self Service.

Click on OK to access the Microphone.

Lockdown Browser

Students must have a secure browser

ISSUE: When they first go into the app, they will be asked if they
want to be in a lockdown browser. THEY MUST CLICK YES.
If student selects NO, close out of app and do a hard shutdown of
the ipad. Go back into testing app.

Reorder the following in the order they should be done on the day of testing

Basic Troubleshooting

Check to make sure the setting for Allow Cross-website
tracking is turned ON

Hard restart on iPad

4.

Delete and reinstall the DRC App (and again make sure the
Allow Cross-website tracking is turned ON)

5.

Check the Technical Support Issues/Solutions (live) link for
teachers to resolve.

6.

Call Library Aide Extension 8082 for classroom support.
Students cannot leave the classroom due to security

Reminder to avoid using the network/internet for
bandwidth-intensive activity during testing.
