Hello, everyone. Today, I’m going to make a presentation about food waste.
The title of my presentation is“What is important to reduce food waste?”導入
When you cook, it is important to cut vegetables properly in order to avoid
wasting some parts we can eat. This is because it is one of the most effective
ways to reduce food waste at home. In fact, many people waste some parts of
the vegetables when they cut them. For example, some people cut off too much
of the ends of carrots or cucumbers. Here is a graph showing causes of food
waste at home. As you can see, such waste accounts for 55% of the total food
waste at home. It is higher than leftover food or food thrown away after the
expiration date. In order to learn a good cutting method, it is helpful to watch
an online video showing how to cut vegetables more carefully.
